Home Visits

GP's will determine whether or not to carry out a home visit.  Home visits are reserved for patients who are fully housebound.

We understand that the practice covers a large area, and that transport can be an issue, but this is not a reason in itself for a home visit.  Travelling time takes the GP away from other clinical duties and therefore has to be carefully considered.
